LOM Mary's Prince Of Wales
LOM Mary's Prince of Wales known as Ed to his friends was foaled in 1990 at Mary's Farm in Loma Rica. He was selected to be Mrs. Swinerton's farm stallion and as such produced some very nice Cob foals among them are Mary's Happy Easter and Mary's Melissa.

Ed showed with trainer Pat Holmes once as a two-year-old at the Golden State Horse show in Pomona with a win in the two and under a fore shadowing of things to come.

The next time Ed appeared in a show was in Sacramento in l996 where he was English Pleasure Champion and Reserve Champion Stallion. His current owner, John Levy purchased him in June. That same year he went on to be Supreme Champion at the Western Nationals, part of the winning Get of Sire group for his sire and also won the Produce of Dam class for *Scole Sarah with his sister Mary's April.

In 1997 Ed garnered more Supreme Champion titles and English Pleasure wins. He also was brilliant in the Carriage Driving division coming second in the Nation with a very limited amount of showing. 1997 also found Ed pursuing a dressage career, with Jiji Mellon, their efforts gained them the USDF Championship at training level for Welsh.

1998 was a remarkable year for Ed and his people we pursued Welsh shows entirely and ended up with six Supreme Championships to his credit, two of them coming at Tulsa (the Central Nationals). We had always wanted to go to Tulsa "someday" and what a day it was! Ed finished the year as WPCSA National Champion Cob Stallion and Reserve Champion English Pleasure Cob.

1999 saw Ed claiming more top awards in the a fore mentioned activities and saw him start a new discipline Western Pleasure. He got off to a slow start but finished the last show of the season as Western Pleasure Champion and WPCSA Reserve National Champion Cob Western Pleasure.

2001 - Ed again was Hi Score Cob Stallion in the nation and was Supreme Champion under both judges at the American Nationals. He was Supreme at every show but one this season. He received LOM Individual. Ed is now working on his a 'sire' LOM.

Ed is a very rewarding Cob to have and also an example of what our foundation stock produces.
